One spell. A bucket of dice. So many goblins.
You know fireball. The blast hurts you too. That is the game.
You are a wizard. You know one spell. That is the list. The fireball lobs, it rolls a 1d6, and whatever it lands on is the damage. Roll a 6, it does 6. No crits. No scaling. That is the rule.
The blast hurts you too
This is the game. Throw it at your feet and you cook in your own robe. Every kill has to be earned at range. Every “one more shot” costs you eyebrows.
So many goblins
Grunts walk at you. Runners sprint. Brutes eat ten hits and keep coming. Shamans throw. Bombers carry a barrel. Barrel Rollers lob one at you, survive, then jog back for another.
Cooks drop food. Aloe goblins are covered in aloe and take the meadow with them. Somebody is fat. Somebody is a redcap. Somebody is a king. They all talk trash. An announcer calls every murder in a stadium voice. Including yours.
A bucket of dice
126 dice. Foil dice. Epic dice. A die made of a tiny skull. A die with googly eyes that summons a beholder on a 1. A die that calls in an airdrop. A rubber duck that does almost nothing.
Everything rolls the size it says. No hidden flat numbers.
Cursed dice bind to you. Pick one up and it stays. You swap it for another cursed die or you live with it. The Unlucky Die is exactly what it says.
Cards, familiars, and a shop
Level up, pick a card. Common, epic, and prestige. Take a prestige and the others close for the run forever.
The fireball that comes back at you. The shotgun that splits your dice three ways. A frog, a cat, a demon. All of them have opinions.
Spend gold between runs. The shop remembers you even when you don’t.
